Taxi Cabs To Promote Leipzig 2012

Mike de Vries, managing director of Leipzig’s bid for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games, spoke to tax cab drivers at a breakfast meeting in Leipzig’s Congress centre asking for their support for Leipzig’s 2012 bid.

He explained that taxi cabs are on the front line of Leipzig’s bid because visitors use them when they arrive from the airport or train station or travel around the city.

He presented 120 taxi cab drivers with decals, 10 x 15 centimetres, to be displayed on their car windows to show their support for Leipzig’s 2012 bid.
