American Athletes Support USOC

An open letter released Tuesday shows that current and former U.S. Olympians and Paralympians praised the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) for its support of America’s athletes and plans to reform.

The letter was sent by Rachel Godino, chair of the USOC Athletes Advisory Committee and John Naber, president of the U.S. Olympic Alumni Association.

The letter read, “we remain confident the ongoing reform process will create a U.S. Olympic Committee that is capable of enabling American athletes to reach their full potential”.

USOC leaders are scheduled to appear before a House subcommittee Wednesday, the third time they have been called before Congress.
